Donating resources to alliance members

I suggest that when we select an alliance members land and click on "enter" there would be a donate button that would allow anyone to donate resources (troops, wood, grain, etc.).

I imagine a message coming to me saying _____ alliance member is being attacked. In real life if a country or in ancient days a city was being attacked, the country would send a message to allies saying they are being attacked and asking for resources. I think it would be great if we could do the same in Haypi Kingdom. An alliance member could ask for assistance from the alliance and we as alliance members could locate this person's (who is being attacked) property and donate resources to the person.

This would help people out but would also make an alliance feel more like an alliance. Right now our only option is to attack the property of the other attacker. A bad scenario I can imagine happening is some level 10 guy attacks the level 6 leader of an alliance full of noob players. By noob I mean low level people who can't attack. This level 6 guy has no chance, but if the level 1s could donate resources and troops to the cause then the level 6 might stand a fighting chance.

Maybe in the upcoming patch for Alliance wars something like this could happen, but not to the extent of no limitations which all these posts seem to coincide with commonness.

No.

1. This has been proposed so much.

2. You're not looking at the pros and cons.

3. There are multiple things you can do when being attacked, such as:

-Put your troops on hunt
-Dispatch depending on how far and how long the attack is and your city
-Sell your resources at the market for a high price then claim them after

4. This could cause powerleveling, which in a short definition, a brief amount of time, where someone or some people get a boost in power/experience/level. Now this is fine if your doing it by yourself...but if it's assisted it's not fair in THIS game.

There would be no point in the ranking system. Everyone would be the same eventually...*coughs* communism. *Winks* Just kidding.

5. This would get ABUSED. Why is it so hard for people to do things themselves? I swear, I bet that 90% of the people posting this are under 18, and haven't really done anything for themselves. It's a grown up world out there, there is no reason why it shouldn't be one in here. It's a war game...war and an easy world don't mix....

But still.

I could lay out the pros and cons for you if you really don't understand them. But if you don't understand them, you must be level 11 and below...because I personally get 2-3 million resources a day (or every 12-16 hours)...and that's not even a lot compared to other players.

I've been playing this game for almost 2 months, and I'm only 3rd Marquis almost 2nd. Which...I don't know if that's good or not, but I'm assuming that I'm leveling on tract to all the other players ahead of me.
Now this is a story all about how YOUR life got flipped, turned upside down, and I'd like a minute so, sit and be merry, I'll tell you how I became the Mother F***ing Gary.

oh there would be limitations and I imagine that there should be some kind of rule that after the battle is over, the troops donated would return to the original person. There could also be a coin cost to donate troops...maybe a certain amount of coins for a certain amount of troops. I see now thanks to your rather scathing reply that donating resources would be bad.

also if you put your troops on hunt and the attacker takes over your city, where do the troops go?

to your number 5: im 28, i know the real world, don't belittle me. Not to mention, in the REAL WORLD people should and can call for help and others should be able to help. I think anything donated should not count to a persons level, experience, or whatever.

Its only a suggestion, I have done everything in the game, and there seems to be only more of the same coming for the following levels. But what good is an alliance if you can't help a member out. I might as well just rely on myself and RL friends since alliances mean nothing.

anything can be abused. If we limit ourselves because something could be abused, we would not be able to do anything. Same applies in real life. We might as well get rid of beer, smoking, hell even food...it all can be abused and be harmful when abused.

I realize that the devs want to make the game fair, but there needs to be some sort of team work. If there is no team work you might as well have made the game a non-mmo and just added AI.

Alliance wars is coming up...until then, it's best to lay off of these threads because we don't know what entails yet.

Nooo, I was talking about the repeating threads of the same topic. Sorry it it was a little vague. Just got done reading a book with lots of alliteration lol and it kinda stuck with me.

You can't just build peoples armies for them. That's COMPLETELY unfair for all the other top 50 ranked people on all servers who built by themselves. Of course, most of those people work with other people to bring people down.

Example:

-One person sends 1 cat to each city that they want attacked, making that person unable to move for that amount of time (Their city)

-Another attacks the crop oasis' and if they have none leftover they attack the city

-The last few attack the starved out troops at the city, draining out the cranny and finishing off the troops

There is your teamwork right there. No need to spoon feed people like all these people/threads are suggesting.

Asharwood wrote:also if you put your troops on hunt and the attacker takes over your city, where do the troops go?

Their lost, but it does take 2 people at LEAST to take over a city. Usually 3 or 4 to be honest. And that amount of time usually, the person would be online.

Huh? Mate, mate, I meant no disrespect. Sorry if I gave you that impression. Which...I don't know how I did, I was just generalizing but whatever. Anyways I digress lol, ummm. Yeah people should be able to help...like a guy in my alliance. He's top 15 or 16 whatever on our server. He makes about 500k money a day on a bad day. He easily sells our alliance items.

Here's how it works:

-Player A is rich high level guy
-Player B is poor low level guy needing items to get next title

Player A asks player B if he is ready to buy the item, uhh, scepter for example, at 40k money, its lowest price. Player B agrees and signals he is ready. Player A then says, "When I say go, count to 10 seconds and I will put it up there". Player B waits 10 seconds, goes to the market and purchases it.

Easy. Though...in my time...I think I've taken 5 nuggets, 1 Gem, and a scepter so far heh. But that's just random luck...and I have a super fast Wifi connection so I don't know.

This game is just like any other mmo really...once you reach level 10ish, you've done basically all you can do. After that it's how you utilize and militarize yourself, alliance and strategies.

What good is an alliance if you can't help them out? Well then, right now, you can easily attack people if their attacking your member. Of course, revenge isn't always immediate...but what revenge is?

I wasn't saying that you should just rely on yourself, I'm not even close to giving that impression in my opinion, it's just, you have to grow up in this game. Once you reach a certain level, you can start helping easier with coordinating attacks on other players.

I'm assuming you haven't done that yet, because it's kinda obvious that is supreme effort on the alliance and it's obvious teamwork. (Not trying to besmirch you or ANYTHING. Don't take it the wrong way please)

Besides...if this isn't good enough....Alliance wars is coming out...so at least refrain from posting these threads until then. Who knows? Haypi might implement some variant to these ideas, but to be honest, I doubt it.

I can give you reason why, pros and cons if you still have questions. Right now, I've been holding a poop lol while I've been typing this, cause I don't want to forget any ideas, but yeah. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to address them with you. Since most people here just give vague answers....

"It will be abused"

Most wonder why.

Anyways yup.

By the way, it says blossom and sad panda...I don't know...those were supposed to be "vague" and "Spoon fed" but I can't change them and other words...so whatever.

Hmm. About alliance wars...I don't know if it's a game...or an addon to Haypi or what. I think it's just another option for Haypi Kingdom to be honest.

I think Thomas would know the most...but I'm not sure.

But from what I've heard, it sounds like something you do in Haypi Kingdom. So since it's coming out in patch 2.0, I'm assuming it's part of Haypi kingdom.
