and yes, if u know what my wall looks like, cavs won't make it in 2 turns lol.

Thanks to my friend in S4 who told me to invest in traps, if only for this purpose.
Some will toil endlessly. Others will fail miserably. We know an alternative.

i have a full cav army, 55k cav vs 14k inf, 2k cav, 12 arch, 22k cats with 15 lvl10 turrets. lost the battle due to 8x power attack. if not because of power attack, most likely will win the battle. i have max healing, therefore save 11k of the cav. the opponent left 500inf, 500 cav and 4k cats after the battle. this is not yet the max number of cav i can have for my lvl, i believe 80-90k will be the max 9 lvl9 oasis can support

Obelisk--- there are other factors that affect battle outcome besides troop size and skill point distribution (I think max heal is awesome too). Attributes, gear, and tech levels are important too...

my stats are as followed, attack 65, def 130, speed 145, fortune 30.
skill is lvl2 chest opening, lvl1 hidden, lvl10 healing and lvl6 cranny break.
tech lvl at max for all
i don't understand what u mean of attribute
i don't like the fortune stats is because its unpredictable. my def will cut down my loss as i make my way to the enemy line. i will lose about 1k cav to 15 lvl 10 turrets. i have once use 16k cav and 10k cats vs 12k inf, 4k cav, 4k arch an 22k cats, i lost, but he lost around 17k of his cats it is the strategy involve when using cav. if they are not controlling it, charge ur cav at their cats when they are around 3/4 field awy from u. however, if they are waiting, u can only charge them. turrets and traps can't slow down cav. they only buy them 1 turn. so high def is key for cav success. equipment wie, i will said all lvl15 item is a must. i do not invest in attack and fortune. cav have a good kill stats against most units. survival is more important. no point if u can kill many but u can't make to them.

I was in a position to test this last night, and it does seem my numbers are off a bit- I had missed Nado's post saying the MAX range on a level 10 turret was 1050. I updated the table accordingly- the columns correspond to turret level:

Catapult 800 816 832 849 866 883 901 919 937 956 975

I didn't do the coloring on this one, but any value over 800 means you can potentially hit a catapult if the attacker doesn't have any shooting range tech at all (unlikley). Any value over 975, means you can definitely get a shot in on a catapult. The catapult values for each shooting level are listed underneath the main table.

Most of these values are extrapolated and assume a linear progression of stats, which is probably *not* true- I have seen a level 7 turret take out a cat, and I only had level 6 shooting(possibly my speed was higher?)

still, this is a lot better than nothing. Level 1 and 10 are definitely correct :)[code][/code]

Are you sure? I was under the impression that it was 2% compounded. I think I read that it was compounded somewhere, I don't think I looked into it myself.

Shooting skill effects the range of turrets. A level 10 turret with level 10 shooting has 1,350 range.
