You need a deeper red. Maybe with a lighter red shadow so it doesn't sit too much into the background.

That's the darkest the red gets >.<
Or well as red as red gets...

I can add a shadow for both parts of text.

It's too bright, I think.... I'm sure you can mess with the font color. You're using cs right?
