i attacked a lvl 9 oasis with about 2000 catapults and it wasnt occupied. When my attack hit it, it had over 10000 catapults in it and they killed my catapults and took over 17000 prestige.
is their anyway i could get my catapults back?

That sounds like a lvl 9 fort

lvl 9 forts dont have 10k cats... no forts do


just scouted one at 100 loyalty a brand new one never owned ( i know because its next to my main) 150 cats

It has sent my troops back before if someone else occupied it it wasn't occupied but at the last second it was I hope support gives me my cats back WHEN IM ONLINE

theyre going to tell you "you lose troops when the greater force kills your troops" i suggest you DEMAND your troops back

Ive had that glitch too.. sent a 5k cav army to a lvl 9 oasis. only to met by a 2k cat army owned by another player. the oasis was un occupied when i sent my attack. Its a real glitch, wish they can fix it.

by the way... who would send 10k cats to occupy a lvl 9 oasis? unless he knew you were coming and dispatched. and if he knew you were coming then you woulda known you were attacking another player...

so it's that at the EXACT time I sent my troops to occupy the oasis he was occupying it... Still shouldn't I have gotten my troops back? Because the owner of the oasis changed?

How far away was the oasis from you? If someone else was on the way to attack it, 10 minutes would have been tacked onto your travel time. And, like you said, I'd think that when an oasis/fort changes ownership, all attacks to it are canceled, because one time, I was taking forts in an alliance war. After I took it, the guy attacked to get it back. Resigning it made the incoming attack cancel.
