Troops Vanishing

I'm pretty sure I read a thread on this topic already, but I can't find it for the life of me. The search for these forums isn't the greatest. So forgive me for making a new post.

I had an army of 2910-0-0-599 simply vanish after attacking a fort. They did not return home, did not stay in the fort (since it was only the first attack) and are simply no where to be found. Maybe they stopped to get a bite to eat on the way home?

I tried shutting down and restarting the app, waiting a little while, checking under rocks, in the bushes, but they are simply nowhere! And the war report says I lost no troops.

Has anyone else experienced this? I think in the thread that I read, the guy said they simply reappeared later. I guess if they never come home I could contact support or just simply rebuild, but I am curious to know how common this is. Who else has this happened to? How did you resolve it?

Well I found another thread on this issue (in Bug Report, duh I should have looked there). Anyway, Adina329 suggested training a few more troops and see if they returned. I started training two and instantly the other returned! I guess they didn't want to be replaced. Anyway, this worked for me so it might work for someone who has the same problem.
