City Walls

It would be nice if you could upgrade your city walls. CUrrently, there are 15 spaces for turrets/traps. It would be nice if every upgrade, more space would be provided for turrets/traps.

Leveling details:

Level 1: Cost 10000 wood
5000 stone
500 food
2000 iron
200 population
Time takes: 4 hours to upgrade
Provides: 3 more spots for turrets/traps
Total spots: 18

Level 2: Cost 20000 wood
10000 stone
1000 food
4000 iron
400 population
Time takes: 6 hours to upgrade
Provides: 3 more spots for turrets/traps
Total Spots: 21

Level 3: Cost 30000 wood
15000 stone
1500 food
6000 iron
600 population
Time takes: 8 hours to upgrade
Provides: 3 more spots for turrets/traps
Total Spots: 24

Level 4: Cost 40000 wood
20000 stone
2000 food
8000 iron
800 population
Time takes: 10 hours to upgrade
Provides: 3 more spots for turrets/traps
Total Spots: 27

Level 5: Cost 50000 wood
25000 stone
2500 food
10000 iron
1000 population
Time takes: 12 hours to upgrade
Provides: 3 more spots for turrets/traps
Total Spots: 30


There would be only 5 levels to upgrade the city walls, because 5 levels already doubles the space, and that should be enough.

Please reply for any ways to improve this idea.

I don't think there is a need for MORE Base Defense Slots. 15 Slots is plenty. a few more defensive options would be nice though...

i know a lot of people who would LOVE having double the space. but yes, it would be nice to have more than two defense options. In a games called evony i used to play, there were a lot of defense options, like trebucets, etc.

I think it is a good idea, however I think that being able to upgrade it 5 times is a bit too much.

I like your idea. It would allow us to continue to defend ourselves against growing enemys.

I know lv 14 plus who refuse to build dfs they say it's a waste of resources

and I know people who will always build defense
but when you have a atk with 12k plus cats comeing at you it isn't really fair for a defender so yes we do need more spot and 5 lv isn't enough that will only double are dfs which will let us live a ltl bit longer but also 15 more spot is a lot resource and alot people what be able to build em

So it Is a plus in my book for the ones who really do play and wana build up and protect there cities

But the farmers an raiders would hate it couse now they what be able to farm press like crazy

If you had more defences then I believe attacker should also be given pres for destroying defences, not just troops. That will add some balance - otherwise it would become pointless to attack villages with defences.

for one id have to say 30 spots waaay to much mabye 25ish and thats pushing it at max also i think if any upgrades it should take alot more res and alot more time to upgrade lvl 10 turrets even 10 more can be a big pain.
im backish i quit the main game atm slowly comeing back forum is a start XD

The idea with Base Defense is to assist in defending your city. It shouldn't be your entire defense. This is a game of commanding troops, not building building and hanging out.
I build base defense for 2 reasons: Prevent raids on my resources by smaller players and Assist in defense when a larger one attacks. I also know that 3 rows of lvl 10 turrets is a beast to take out if the opposing player has an army and is there commanding it.
There is really no need for more then that. Build an army and defend yourself.

pretty much what the poster above me said and really as long as u dont tick someone higher then you off and dont leave units out i will next to garentee 80% of haypi players will not randomly attack u. i was smart untill lvl 10 i never used wc had an avg alli and onyl hit inactives and diddint get hit untill lvl 10.
im backish i quit the main game atm slowly comeing back forum is a start XD
