Prisons

A new building for cities: Prisons

Captured troops would be sent to prisons. Prisoners would then be made to maintain oasis that you own, reducing the rate at which they drop level.

If you get enough prisoners then the oasis would stop dropping level and even start gaining level (up to level 10).

However, prisoners would consume crop.

You'd be able to upgrade a prison to level 20 and the number of prisoners held would determine how much maintenance is done on oasis.

You could disband prisoners (set them free, they return to their owner) to reduce your crop consumption (but also reduce amount of maintenance on oasis).

This also means that the player who owned the prisoners would suddenly get increased crop consumption unexpectedly :)

Alternatively, released prisoners could join barbarian camps (fortified points) or unoccupied oasis making them better defended and harder to capture.

If a city starves, the prisoners starve first, before the player's army.

idk y i dont like this idea if i happens it happens but this idea is odd and really would perfer without it. but keep thinking of ideas.
im backish i quit the main game atm slowly comeing back forum is a start XD

It is definitely an interesting idea. I would give it a thumbs up depending on how you would go about “capturing” troops. Also, while I think it is a very long stretch, some people might shoot this idea down because of the “anti-slavery” rule.

idc about slavery it was the past i diddint like slavery but ti diddint affect me also yes how would these prisoners be capered? like the pursuade skill it just works when your attackign and being attacked?

This is another ability that would be easily abused.
It would allow larger players who have multiple accounts to have HUGE armies and let their troops be "Captured" on the sub accounts. Then they are not responsible for feeding that army and have instant access to have them "released".
Great in concept, but easily abused.

yea i coudl see this happening and me doing this myself being i have about 5 acocutns on s1 from friends that quit.

Your army size would be the same size as it is today, this just helps alleviate having to re-occupy an oasis.

On a side note, would prisoners die off after a certain amount of time? It might be good to have them decrease as time passes as this will make players more inclined to go out and battle in order to replenish their prisoner count.
