Look, first thing that's needed is ability to filter what goes in to the mailbox.
I want a screen where I can tick what sort of common things land in the mailbox:
* Market sale (where I've sold something) report
* Market buy (where I've bought something) report
* Hunt reports
* Attack reports (where I've attacked someone)
* Defend reports (where someone attacked me)
* Oasis reports (where I've captured an unoccupied oasis)
* Fortified point reports (where I've captured an unoccupied fort)
* Resource purchases from shop (when you buy res with coins)
Second scout reports need to work different - when I scout someone, show me the results of scouting on the confirmation screen and give me a button that let's me choose whether to save it to my mailbox. Otherwise I have to scout, then go to mailbox only to find useless reports that I then need to delete. Much quicker to just show report instantly and then give me option or save it to mailbox or discard. This would save soooooo much time!
Finally, the mailbox needs folders as mentioned above so I can filter to war reports, or hunt reports, etc.
Oh, and I like the idea of being able to lock (or better: Archive) messages I want to keep. Archive would be a separate folder that I could move messages to.
Maybe also put an icon on the messages to indicate what sort of message it is - eg. one icon for hunt reports, another for defence reports, etc. Those icons could then be used for the folders, and in the archive it would clearly show what sorts of messages are in there.
