Farming forts with cavs?

How do i farm a fort with the least amount of casualties?

Well..I sent 4k cavs at a level 4fort and had 124 casualties....I have maxed treasures, marching, attack and defense.....Or was it lvl 3.....one of those two lol

4k cavs is cheap, considering you need 2k cats to do it with cats. Nice.

How should I command the troops? Wait until their cavs reach me? and their infantry comes into range so I can hit them the first time I move?

just send mine forward...and bring a bunch of inf to help carry back resourses....wait them though

I would just bring more cavs, the infantry would slow me down

I currently run an army of 10k archers and cav (and 10k inf) you will suffer NO losses if you bring some archers, i recently forgot to command against a lvl 5 fort and took NO losses

I would send enough cavs to take out the inf in one attack, and then you only have to deal with one normal archer attack and one quartered (Close combat) attack, and with regular fort archers, this is a small amount. To take out the inf you need a bit less than their numbers in cav(depending on attack).
I personally wouldnt send inf aswell because this slows you down when the main reason your sending cav is to reduce travel time. Just attack twice if you need to.
