I have a nice counter to this suggestion. If you are able to hold more than the max limit. Let's use crops for an example, then your soldiers would get so fat and take 5x as long to get somewhere and be less effective XD

that made no sence at all just because u have more food dont mean u eat more its liek saying if u go to walmart and buy the full store you would have to eat the full store....
im backish i quit the main game atm slowly comeing back forum is a start XD

I like the original idea, but have maybe a slight variation which would hopefully be easier for the devs as well. What if instead of just overflowing your current warehouse, you had the ability to create silos? First you would have to build these silos (which could be limited to 5 lets say), then once built, you could transfer resources from your warehouse to the silos. Now lets say a silo could hold 100k of a resource. You can decide which type of resource you want to stock up on (wood, stone, iron, or crop) since you could only store one type of resource in a silo at a time.

It would have to be decided though whether crops stored in silos would automatically transfer to your warehouse if your troops were about to starve or if you had to physically log in to transfer crops from the silo to the warehouse. If it was automatic, it could make starving someone a pretty difficult venture.

at above thats actually nto a bad idea you can create silos liek u can occupy oasises but u pick an empty space on map u can have as many silos as oasises im guessing more or less only prob is i can have 8 silos if that way wich could be 800k food which is nearly tripleing my food expalin if we use all food does the silo auto go to our res?

I still believe there needs to be a limit. . .the way resources work is fine in my opinion:) I personally dont think expanding resource capacities is needed

maybe if you had 400k and you farmed 400k, you could have 800k, but you could not gain resources in ANY way after that. At least until its back under the limit.

ok mabye the idea 2 posts above is ok cuz now that i thinnk about ti original idea someone could make like 10k cats (crazy number) and ti woudl take liek 2 weeks to build even thou thatd be freakign awsome but major bad side affects mabye a max of 1m of every res but after 449300 the prod will stop. or they could do with warehouse liek resource places so haypi gets money... lvl 15 warehouse
