Iphone dev is done in objective-C, and as far as I know, you are not allowed to take another language and convert it to objective-C, though I doubt you would want to. I am interested to hear what type of game you are making. I am a C++ programmer with many years of experience- I actually wrote a tradebot last night in about an hour (the core algo behind the trading, getting it to connect to a haypi server and trade will be more effort). My biggest obstacle is that I don't have access to a mac to do development. To be honest, I think we could make a better Haypi-like game.

I would be interested in helping if the project is going to be open source.

Yes and practice practice practice. The best way to really get a handle on programming is to actually program. Books can only get you so far. :geek:
