The love to voice your opinion and the love to argue are in two different categories. The way you stated it in the first post you mentioned it, it's as if you argue just for the sole purpose of arguing and not to always voice your opinion.
Sure everyone is free to voice their beliefs, but what I'm seeing is that no matter what an expert/mod believes, you automatically disagree for the sake of arguing.
I can't speak for any and all experts about whether or not they bend the rules, but even if they do, you shouldn't add more fuel to the fire. Instead inform and convince the high ups about the issue to resolve it.

A forum post should be like a skirt. Long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting.
