WC suggestion

I've been playing Haypi for about 2 weeks now and this is one of the things I've noticed about world chat. Its a fun place to talk and learn about stuff and everyone is usually very nice. Until someone starts posting ads about joining the alliance....now the ads themselves aren't so bad. THe annoying part is the arguments that occur. "Stop posting ads!" "keep it under 5mins" "stop thats annoying!" blah blah..you get the idea.

So my suggestion is ban any sort of ads to join alliances...a chat shouldn't be used for that anyway in my opinion. That's what forums are for. Users could access the forum to learn about, and join alliances. That would also get more users using the forums and involved in the haypi community.

Now, if someone is asking about joining an alliance in wc, of course people would be able to say "hey join my alliance _____" or anything thats part of a normal conversation.

That's my two cents tell me what you think.

Re: WC suggestion

Without ads, the chat would be smoother. But how is it fair for the newer players that created new alliances? How will they ever recruit people to join?

Then maybe create a whole seperate chat for alliance ads? And the experts can periodically check on it to see if there is any abuses.
Or just use forums as the main way of recruiting.

How could you restrict it to ads only though...what stops people from using it as another wc?

Re: WC suggestion

In ad chat, or whatever you wanna call it use a standard form. For example: "join _____ ranked _ levels __. And then a personalized something or rather, like "we're very active"
Latin for "I have returned"

Re: WC suggestion

Possibly restrict alliance ads to PM? Or through Letter?

It Would be beneficial to the wellbeing of wc and it would allow alliance leaders to get to know members on a more personal basis before accepting them :)

Re: WC suggestion

They should just add a entire different section to the game. Right now Ads clog up the chat. Restricting a private chat for ads would FAIL. Not having ads makes it much harder for small weaker alliances to get going.

Perhaps make it so Alliances can Add actual data on their alliances. Like requirements to join them *Title* *Prestige* *Teches* *army size* *ect* anything they have as a requirement. Then have a section completely dedicated to alliance searching. So a player can go look there to see what alliances he qualifies for and ask to join. Maybe even a description spot for the Alliance to describe itself to try persuading a player to join it.
