Well, why not exactly?
Re: Haypi needs an in-game change
to many people inactive no gold being made or u find a inactive and hes liek epically rich then a lvl 10 could have max techs
im backish i quit the main game atm slowly comeing back forum is a start XD
Re: Haypi needs an in-game change
Yes but that's the same with prestige isn't it? Some inactive guy might leave out 1k cats. It will even out after the inactives have been looted. And like I said, it would be much harder to get techs. So no, a lvl 10 would not be able to max techs.
Re: Haypi needs an in-game change
i was lvl 10 with max shooting and turrets???

Re: Haypi needs an in-game change

Re: Haypi needs an in-game change
True, but how does this relate to my idea?

Aurellius wrote:5. The marketplace should be turned into an auction house where players buy and sell from an npc. The way it would work is there would be an auction help every hour for every treasure or resource and the only te highest bidder gets the prize. Players can not see what someone else is bidding and if a player is outbid then they can not receive there money back, so players have to be smart about how they bid.
I love this idea. I don't know about other servers, but on server one there are almost NEVER any medals or scepters for sale. An hourly npc-run auction would finally give some lower level players the ability to get the treasures the game is currently forcing them to spend coins for.
I would amend this suggestion in a few ways, though. I don't think the market should ONLY be an auction house. The auctions should just be an alternative to the regular market. I think it's important to have player to player trades, so as to keep the basic resources available. This leads me to my next amendment.
The basic player to player marketplace should only have resources, and the auction house should be the only place where you can get treasures. The benefit of separating the two different kinds of trades is that it would allow for constant access to both resources AND treasures, while the regular market would still provide players a way to make gold more quickly than just hunts. This leads me to a suggestion (not an amendment this time).
The previous amendment would mean that there's no more reason to use coins to get treasures; that's fine! The use of coins could be limited to only in game bonuses, like city move, VIP, etc. This means that paying players could get ways to play better, but not be able to level up in cheap ways.
What about gold? Being that coins could no longer get material objects (treasures, resources, gold), it would create a much more balanced leveling system. You know what I mean; players so frequently resort to using coins to get things they need to improve, like that elusive level 15 manual or that crazy expensive gem - for the noobs ^_^. To go along with not being able to get that stuff with coins, HK would also need to remove the ability to get gold with coins, so that coins can't be abused for leveling up in any way.
Okay, I guess that's it. I found suggestion 5 the most rationally achievable of Aurellius' suggestions, and the one that could be completed and put into effect most expediently. Let me recap what I think and add a couple points.
•The market will be split into a Player to Player (P2P) market and an NPC-run Auction House.
•The P2P market will only have the 4 basic resources: metal, wood, stone, and crop.
•The NPC Auction House will have only treasures.
•Players will only be able to sell their tresures to the NPC (maybe there could be something like a "Barter" skill that raises how much you can sell treasures to the NPC for).
•Auctions will start hourly; bids are in gold.
•At the end of the hour the highest bidders will receive their respective items.
•All bids placed are non-refundable, so players will have to bid wisely or else they will just waste gold.
•Perhaps HK could add in a daily auction (resets at 00:00:00 GMT) for just 10 coins, so that there's a competitive way to earn coins in the game.
•Use of coins will be restricted to ingame features only: VIP, Speedup, Enhance Production, Move city, Reset Attribute/Skill points.
Thanks to Aurellius for such great suggestions! I think they're all great, even though maybe only a few can get put in.
Cheers

Re: Haypi needs an in-game change
I approve of ledemigod's suggestion as an amendment to my number 5 suggestion.
