The screen says "communicating, pls try later"
But I've been trying for 8hrs (

That's an internet connection issue.
Check your connection to the internet or 3g network.

i also got the problem some times (iphone4)
restart iphone...
or better kill the app in the multitask -

Maybe to test if its just the server? but other then that i dont think it would help...

This happens to me all the time. About on e a month or so it will give me that message for 3-4 days. I usually wait it out that way I can have a bootload of resources and build the chute out of my army. Although it is very annoying.
