Simple solution. I'm going to try an draw this out in your mind as simple as I can. If you have a branch far away and you want to transport troops to that city, simply do the oasis glitch. Now it's no necessarily a glitch, more like a loop hole around dispatch times. I will explain.
When you occupy an oasis and you callback your troops after occupying, they will return to the city in which it was captures from. Now try to stay with me. If you make cavs (about 10-15k) you can take oasises far away, with only loosing about 100 cavs. Now let me explain how it works. Let's say your main is at 500,500 and your branch is at 20,20. All you need to do is put your cavs in your 500,500 city, and occupy an oasis near your 20,20 city. After that, call your troops back, and dispatch them to your 20,20 city. Now while your troops are in your 20,20 city, occupy an oasis near your 500,500 city and then call back your troops.
Now remember when I said troops in an oasis are called back to the city the oasis was captured from? Well that's the exploit! All you need to do is dispatch your troops in let's say your 20,20 city, to the oasis captured from the 500,500 city. Hopefully you captured one close so the dispatch is very short. Now go to your cities/oasis tab and click callback on your troops in that oasis. The troops are called back to your 500,500 city instantly because that's the city that captured that oasis, thus saving a ton of time.
I hope that helps!
