My server8 story

Hello, first of all a player named 'Ronkmonk' has given  me the idea to make a "story" of my server8 experience. I'll  be giving my perspective, on how I've started the server, every detail may not be in there, just getting to the point of understanding what I'm saying. 

Epilogue

Okay it's a Tuesday morning, June 29th, and I've woken up at 6:00 Am , Eastern timezone. I woke up to go get the iPhone 4. As i got to the store there was a line I waited in for about an hour. As it was my time to purchase  one, the AT&T workers said that I wasn't able to purchase one because I've just bought an iPhone 3GS a month ago. I went home disappointed, but called another AT&T store in the area to double-check that I wasn't able to purchase one. They said other wise, I was able to and shortly went to the AT&T in the mall. After I spoke to them in the mall they said they should have no problem. Soon I've received my new iPhone 4 around 4:00 and downloaded Haypi Kingdom right away. 

How I Started

As I started, I just completed tasks, and sold my "secret gifts". I was headed to a local pizza place to get something to eat. Again on my way home I've continued to upgrade. Once I got home I made the alliance you may have known as 'Apollo'. I started to recruit and soon our members list was full. We were ranked 5 but after a bit we were rank 2. Around the time I bought a 750 coin package. The alliance we were following on the rankings was Templar. I shortly talked and arranged a "peace treaty" with Templar. As Apollo continued to progress so has Templar. The prestige was close as we continued to level and etc. At one point for about a few hours Apollo got rank 1 but Templar regained their position. After a day or two of struggling for the lead, we were awarded with it. Everyday we gradually got a larger and larger lead over other alliances. At the time I was rank 1 in all rankings. I was continuously helping and answering questions in world chat, and enforcing the rules which later I received Expert Status. At the time everyone thought having 10,000 prestige was alot. 

It continues

Gradually more and more players joined server8 and soon we all knew each other. Still with Apollo in the lead, with many alliances being created server 8 was still small. At one point Kennywelsh had a alliance and some people in Apollo wanted to crush him. After at least a week Kennywelsh was a new addition to Apollo, which after a while got vice leader, with Dreadnot,Dwagon,Coldshot,Ace_123 at one point, and iSehrgut my buddy from server 5. Other members that may still play that were in Apollo are Kvathe and Servious (one of the first to join Apollo). 

I receive Expert

I was on vacation when I received 'Expert Status'. I was in a campground in Virginia with limited Internet. It was around 12 am when I looked at my mail and saw a letter from support8 saying I've been awarded Expert. I was so happy that I was apart of the Haypi Staff. 

Apollo falls

Around the time a player named 'Fey' as all of you know, got in arguments with other Apollo, which caused her to be kicked out. After a while 'Asiantony' as you may know left with atleast half of Apollo's members and created the alliance named 'Dragons' which took first place and is now still rank 1 alliance of server8. After members of Apollo were scattered around, me and Dwagon created the alliance 'Nightwatch' for any level to join. It was good but after a while I left and made my own alliance which I didn't succeed in so I've joined Dragons. I was in there for a while continuing to level and go down the ranks. I've went inactive for a few weeks after these events and around the end of august I've been playing again. After some of Dragons members left the alliance, I shortly left and joined the alliance 'Disciplez'. For a week I was in that and now I'm in 'Dominatorz'. This is where the server is now. 

I just skimmed through all of my experience on server8, If I made some mistakes in events please mail me in game about it so I can fix them.

ok so i wuz on my ituch wen i saw haypi kindoms for fr33 an i wuz liek "oh em gee" and gotted it.

Now, for real.

It was 8:00 AM, June Twenty-ninth. I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, when I remembered I do not own an alarm clock. I jolted up in my bed, expecting an apparatus to obliterate me at any moment of alarming movement. I glanced over at my desk and saw my Apple Apparatus shaking violently. It was "Free App a Day." I was confused, I didn't think I set push notifications.
Well, I slowly walked over to it and pressed the home button and saw that the game "Haypi Kingdoms" was available." I thought, "Oh gee, another lame Apple product Multiplayer game." I tried it out, and was going to rant about it on my blog, because blogs are still cool.
I played the first minutes in excitement. "Wow! This game actually has challenge, seems a bit like Evon--"

Then, my mind exploded. I actually thought the abomination, referred to as Evony, actually compared to this game. I stopped, and got on world chat. The atmosphere was crazy. There was a large hint of slow lag inside my apparatus, despite my blazing, nearly impeccable connection. I made a few friends. I was in the top three players at the time, and I was thinking I could have succeeded.

But unfortunately, what I had enjoyed all day, and all night, for the weekend was ruined, I somehow, beyond all working habits and social conversing, forgot about such a game. I went offline for a month.

When I came back, I was in the top 3000, and I had no idea what anything was. I was still in Escape, Tramz's alliance. I was confused, why would they keep a title 3 in their alliance for so long? I slowly ascended to rank 6, and when I got to rank 7, I quit after Escape died.

I went solo, being farmed by users like falkotron didn't stop me. I kept on just talking in chat and made friends with Fey and yelled at Dragon8888, he was always trying to rectify people despite the face he didn't have expert. I ignored his yelling and talked with Fey a large amount. She was yelled at a lot and I defended her. She noticed I was not in an alliance, and led me to Angelfall, an awesome alliance in the rank 100's.

Angelfall was really a low point for me, I had fun in it, but I was to afraid to attack any enemies. It disbanded after 2 months.

Follows to 5 days ago, I got in the alliance "Iron Sword" ranked 10. This gave me a feeling of power, as a handicap does when he gets 100% on a calculus test. I ran around attacking anything for any amount of prestige and resources, my army jumped by the thousands, my prestige has grown 50,000, and I feel awesome.
