Haypi Adventure Prologue by Ghulah
Haypi Adventure (I've attempted to tie the two games together with this story)
For centuries we people of Haypi have fought and farmed. I seek a new challenge.
I will follow the rivers from the war ravaged lands of Haypi to the vicious seas beyond. I had heard the whisperings in the villages of eight treasures, rare and sacred, on the sea bed, their protecting ships dashed to shreds before they could reach safety. Amongst those whisperings of treasures and relics I had heard talk of the Key of The Future. A key of Kings that could open a door to untold treasures, to immortality, or even perhaps the end of all things. The treasures, so say the rumours, must be all found on that dark and treacherous sea floor before the key can be won.
I recalled that in my childhood I had been told the story. Long ago, when the wars of Haypi first began, the King entrusted the treasures, the key and its powers to the Prince Regent. The Prince sent the treasures away on eight ships. A devastating storm ravaged the seas of Haypi as the ships launched, and all were lost to the unforgiving waters. The Prince, and the key, returned to Hapyi to find the King slaughtered and their land destroyed. His guilt and sorrow consumed him, and he vowed to protect the key and his father's legacy with his life, and so he hid away. The key would keep him alive until the treasures could be reunited with it. For back then, all things lost to the sea were truly lost.
Whomever finds the treasures can claim the key and the glory it bestows.
Could it be real?
Times have changed. I have in my possession a submarine that can examine the sea floor. I will also trade from the sea, a cunning ruse to disguise my real intentions, for I have no other passion than possessing the key.
But it would seem that I am not alone in my desires. Others seek the key and have come to the shores.
I must have the key. I must know its secrets. And so my adventure begins...
