trading

ok well I know how much this has been suggested (yes I am too lol ), but what i would like to know is why hasn't this been implemented? This would be helpful and productive now I'm not just giving stuff away. What i was thinking would be like a one on one trade and you would have to give an equal value. This way it would not be abused and if this wouldn't work out could it please be explained.

Re: trading

first off, the in game money is how you fairly trade, now. because the need and want for the different resources is different, their values are different. and to trade something of lesser value for greater value, while the market is constantly fluctuating, is too difficult and complex for the player alone, let alone the game programmers who have to come up with equations, and HTML coding for all of this stuff. when it comes to modifying a game, the tiniest thing in our minds to change can be some of the most difficult in coding the game. and if something simple is that hard, i cant imagine that something as complex and unnecessary as this, would be easy. the system we have now still works. And until it fails, why give the programmers more work than what they already have?

Re: trading

adding private alliance trading would add potential for abuse(and it would be abused trust me). Simple as that :)

Re: trading

players would have their alliance members send them resource, they will build an army rather effortlessly, and people will generally use this strategy to help 1 player rise through the ranks, and he will then help another player, until the alliance becomes all top people.

that is just one possible scenario.

But isn't that supposed to be the whole point of alliances? Shouldn't the alliances that help their members out the most be on top?

(PS this is assuming normal market rules would be followed in private trade)
