Here is one of mine;

As I watch my family,
They fall one by one.
Was there anything I could have done?
I lay there motionless,
Because everytime I try,
No matter what happens we all seem to die.

As I watch my friends,
One by one they fall.
Could have I stopped it after all?
But I stopped and hesitated,
Because the hardest part of ending,
Is starting again.

Very nice poem penalty, i would write one but it wouldn't come out so good.

I like the poem Penalty! I may be able to put one here soon, if I can write one I like for once...

I am a dreamer......

I had a dream, 
Long, long ago
A dream without machines
A dream without sadness, sorrow, or woe

I live my life, seeing the termoil around me
And through it all, the sadness and lack of glee
I sit by and watch, as time flies by
Wondering how this will end, for you and I

I live a hard life by day, and lazy and carefree, at night
I wonder how we've come so far, since man's first flight
I am cold for what Im used to,
Yet hot for the time of year through

I am hot with the curiosity of wonders yet to come
And ideas past gears and mechanics held up by the human gum
I have no desires, only curiosity,
For the loose grip of what with man's generosity 

I stay up late, way past my bed-time
To wonder how things will be, in a future without rhyme
My heart is calm, my thoughts slowly fade 
I begin to sleep, in what's darker than shade

Until sleep I am but a thinker 
Now in sleep I am a dreamer
I dream of what is to be
And how life is, for you and me

I see fast flying machines, round buildings towering high
I see wealth all around, but not a tree in my eye
Oh, we have developed to this style
No need to have mother nature on trial 

I see large objects, lining the sky,
They've replaced the clouds so high.
I am quickly shown the ways of man
And shown the past days I ran

I have seen that there was no need 
For our generations problems we'd heed
The sky turns gray, but the sun never sets, 
We stay out doors, with our robot pets

As I feel my final breath,
I can clearly see, our death
As we leave, not a soul is by, 
Just our neighbor, who will not die.

We were the last of our generation
A time when all things had rhyme
A time, when everyone lived
But must pay back, and die

Although they may live
I cannot give
Them the gift of you and I 
The gift that we must take with us, when we die

As I slip away, the man next to me shows me kindness
The last generosity from all of human's blindness
They watch me slip, but I do not feel,
For I go and dream of nights that were still

As they close my eyes, I am brought back
To a time I wished would stay
And a time when no one was lead astray
And all could lay their head back, at the end of the day

I have gone away now, to my eternal dream
With you close behind, there's not even a scream
They package up my body, and hury you along,
Just to what they've been waiting to do for so long

I am a dreamer, not for me or you,
But for the times that we value
That will soon fall through

For I had a dream, 
Long, long ago
A dream without a machine

I've had this dream, now you may feel
What will soon become what is surreal
I have seen what will be
And what will happen to you and me

Because I am a dreamer...... 

Pearly Flight

Flight in itself cannot be captured,
But capture it can those below so keenly,
Away up high above scope so slim,
Away down low among scope so slim.

None of its nature is caught,
And turned into image so sought,
But can only indulge a glimpse
Of what was so pearly thought.

Not in the air do pearls arise,
To the slightest whim of the slim scope,
But in ways beyond attainabil’ty,
But in ways inconceivable,
They do.

December

December, December it was.
Night was dark,
Wind was cold.
A time where a young man turns old.
Most look forward to it,
Some cannot bare.
For what lies ahead,
Would be a lonely chair.

The same chair I sat,
When I was to think,
About the stories and how they seem to sink.
The very chair,
I had my best times.
The place one goes when they die.

The same place,
I would like to be.
To escape the world of sadness and misery.
To try and fail,
The villain that we hail.
All falls down,
The faces we can't unfrown.
The time has come,
It comes more near.
As we head toward the end if the year.

In December, I escape.
The world we live in, full of hate.
To leave, to move on;
To a place better,
A place Less severe.
Where your wishes come true,
Where your promises die.
When December passes,
So will I,
I gave it my all,
And my all I have tried.
