when i needed a gem , by the time i got it and leveled i already needed another one and a medal .
and a good way to get more money is steal forts from high level inactives , this will be easy if your on an old server .
pay attention to market prices , in s5 iron cost .04 and on border line of .05 so if you get a bunch of iron oasis and get enhance you can make alot of money quick
i did this and made enough money to buy a gem real quick ...

The level of an oasis for your hunt doesn't matter, although the type does. Wood and Crop oases have a better chance at getting money, and iron and stone have a better chance at getting treasure.

Good advice all around, but I tend to agree to a point with the original post. I think it should be a little easier to hunt nuggets, gems and medals. Nothing drastic, but let us have a slightly better chance of hunting one of those. I hunted two groups of 20k infantry each for a couple months, and only got one or two nuggets and no gems. I know its not a huge army but I think it should be enough to have gotten a gem in a month.

thats the point when your hunting its all randomm, if you increase fortune you get a better chance... thats how you give yourself better luck

This is wrong. The level does matter, the type doesn't. Hunt in high level oasises. I hunted two gems in a week and a gem, a lvl 5 manual and a lvl 7 horse in 24 hrs.

I've also done some limited testing and found no difference between the hunts from a high and low lvl oasis of the same type

the type of oases doesnt matter either. i hunted a medal in a crop oases, a gem in a wood one and a lvl6 armour in a stone one.

id give u gemstone at npc if u were on my server
just keep geting money and prestige so when u finally get on u level up a couple times

and u should train alot of infantry so u can farm and sell resources
