Coin Update (should have been called)

Seems the latest update is pretty much based on greed more than fun for the game.

Why implement the latest changes half way?
Why not be able to sell/buy silver/gold boxes?
Why not be able to sell/buy stones?
Why make it so you will literally have to spend over 1000 coins to enh 1 treasure?

I love playing this game, but these changes seriously shows just how Haypi went from having a fun game to having a greed game.
Seriously Haypi. You are loosing great players and big coin spenders. Forget about the greed and give us the game we used to play for fun.

They mentioned that another update will soon follow after 2.1, so hopefully some of the stuff that they have told us about (such as Alliance Wars) will be in that update which is what I expect to happen.

I really hope you are right. But with all the latest greed that I see upon Haypi Management, they will probably delay the update til they make enough money thru coin sales.
What's the point of selling any stones when you already enh your treasures? Just saying. Ima hold on the enh of treasures til I see they fix all the greed they been adding into the game.

I may sound negative, but darn it, sure makes sense. Ohh well

Bigger question is why didn't they do all those changes with this update? That's the question of the day.

Who knows, but im sure they had some reason for slashing the updates into two.

P.S. Please refrain from double posting, theres an edit button for a reason.

Re: Coin Update (should have been called)

There is always 2 sides to a story.

While you are upset that you must 'pay' to enhance your equipment, I have been raking in gold and silver chests through hunting. I've spent about 85 coins opening those boxes and from them, I've received 7 scepters, and 3 crowns.
Now I don't know how someone could call Haypi greedy when they are virtually giving away their most expensive treasures.

Additionally, you never have to pay to enhance your equipment! We aren't talking about resource fields here.....you are just as capable as I am to gather plenty of free coins from the giveaways in the shop, and I have also gained over 20 enhancement stones through hunts.

Please don't forget....Haypi is a FREE game! If you choose to buy coins and support the company for their work and efforts, you will be rewarded by being able to spend them to make your life easier. If you choose not to spend money on gold coins, that's fine as well, and you will never be discriminated against by this company for it, but you can expect that you will NOT receive the benefits that someone who gives the company money will receive.

This is simply the way life is. You should quick get used to the fact that rich people are likely living a much easier life than you are, but you can sleep well at night knowing that they are paying for it.

Its true, im upset. Not because of the changes, but becuase of the way they implement them.
I do buy coins, and i buy em not becuase of the company, but rather, to enjoy the game a bit more. Now, with the latest changes, they seem to have changed their tactics, going from a fun game to a greed game.
Im not upset because I have to spend coins on new changes. Im upset because of the way they implement it, and only implemented it half way.
While you have gathered gold and silver boxes, and gotten great treasures from them, they will pretty much be useless very soon.
I do appreciate them being there, but why not implement the update with the ability to sell em if needed? or Trade them?
I mean once you lvl 20, what the heck to you need crowns for, or scepters? True, you can sell em to get cash, but you just wasted 10 coins on, well, cash.

The issue is not the changes. The issue is at the way they implemented it and how they did it. The Greedy Way...
The game used to be more fun when they were not as greedy.
Remember, Haypi became what they are today due to the fact that people like me supported them. And this is how they pay back, with a greey update. How are people supposed to believe in a game when these types of changes happen?

Re: Coin Update (should have been called)

I am truly sorry, but I fail to see your reasoning behind labeling these updates 'greedy'

Is it because they added new ways to get you to spend your money? Is it because they are forcing you to spend money now?

It seems to me, that if you truly wanted to call the developers greedy, you might pick a more valid reason, such as the fact that you MUST spend money to upgrade your resource fields. Instead you are complaining about a new, and incomplete I might add, update.

You sound as if you have been playing this game for quite a while. If this is so, you know just as well as I that Every single update ever released has created problems that have been easily worked through given time. You would also do well to remember that the second part of this update is on it's way, and history tells us that these updates are ALWAYS delayed due to apples review process, before they release it to the AppStore.

How do you know the next update won't offer you the option to sell these chests, or stones? How can you be sure that the next update won't do away with stones and chests altogether? The fact is you dont. Nor is it sensible to be so upset over something you don't understand.

Having spent tens of thousands of coins on this game over the past 8 or 9 months, I feel I am as justified in my reckoning as you are in yours. I have several lv19 Accts and you're right....I have no use for crowns and scepters with those Accts....but the fact is, outside of server 1 there are not very many generals to have reached lv20. I personally know of only 6 kings, and two of them are Accts owned by backburner. Now I know there are definitely more kings than that, but let's be serious here....there are literally hundreds of thousands of players who will find a crown very useful and welcome for only 10 coins, or 30 coins even.

Get a grip bro, you are a warlord and you need to compose yourself. It is unbecoming of someone of your experience to behave so impetuously. Be patient and wait for the completion of the update before you decide to cry about it.

Just so you know, Haypi isn't a free game anymore :-)
