Private Trading

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I think it would be awesome to have a way to trade privately with other players, instead of posting on the market really cheap and hoping the right person gets its..

Re: Private Trading

this will never happen as it can be too easily abused by people, i am sorry but there are literally thousands of other threads explaining why this is a bad idea...

Re: Private Trading

This is really a bad idea. It would take away the excitement for me. And also, it could very easily be abused, just as Nathan has said. This has really been suggested many times, and I'm sorry to say it just won't happen..

Can you point me to some of those threads that actually explain why this is a bad idea? I'm sure they must be there, but I have missed them.

PS "This can be too easily abused" is NOT an explanation.

Re: Private Trading

I think you do. Two of those threads offered no real explanation, and I replied to the others.

Here is my proposal for a private trade system:

1. Private trades can not be sold for less than minimum market price.
2. Private trades are still subject to market tax.
3. Only one private trade transaction is permitted at a time.
4. Either
a) Private market tax should be 20% so that there is no financial gain to be had (as opposed to current methods of trading).
b) Each private trade transaction requires 1 coin to open, and can be put forth by either the buyer or the seller.

If haypi was truly worried about players selling to their own accounts, they could make it so that the transaction was automatically shut down if one player logs off, but this would eliminate one of the big plusses I see in private trade: being able to sell to people who don't play at the same time as you.

Re: Private Trading

i still disagree with it, it would definately be abused with selling treasures to yourself as alts it doesnt matter how much money they get in the end
